Not blog posts. On a Random Evening.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Back in 2018, Gabriel and I were at his place, having beers and talking about what went wrong with the last project we worked on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019d known each other for about a year. The project was done. It didn\u2019t work out. And we were both trying to figure out what was next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the time, Gabriel was deep into Elementor. It was exploding in the WordPress world. I, on the other hand, had just started learning how to code. Like\u2026 really just started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then he said it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe should build something better than Elementor.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I laughed.<br>Not because it was funny.<br>Because it was insane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I could barely write a function.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So I pushed back with something smaller. Something that felt possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhat if we build a theme framework first? Something that adds all the things we wish existed. A framework. Templates. A theme built on top of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We launched it on ThemeForest under the name Brisk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And\u2026 it flopped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">ThemeForest was already losing momentum. We were unknown. And the sales reflected that reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was discouraging. But we didn\u2019t quit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We Kept Building Anyway<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Instead of chasing quick wins, we focused on what mattered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We kept improving the framework.<br>We kept answering support tickets.<br>We kept listening to the few customers we had.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Slowly, things started to click.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The framework became more solid. We built our own complete widget set for Elementor. And at some point, we realized something important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We were ready for more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">October 2023: UiCore PRO<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In October 2023, we launched <a href=\"https:\/\/uicore.pro\/\">UiCore PRO<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This time, things were different.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Agencies and freelancers started using it. Word spread. Momentum showed up in a way we hadn\u2019t seen before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the first time, it felt like the idea we joked about years ago might actually be possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">August 2024: The Crazy Idea Comes Back<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By August 2024, that original beer-fueled dream came full circle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We started working on <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/plugins\/uicore-blocks\/\">UiCore Blocks<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A block-based builder. Built our way. And yes, I\u2019m biased, but I genuinely believe it stands up to builders that have been around for twice as long.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Right now, we\u2019re racing to bring all 130+ ready-made sites to Blocks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s been a long journey. And honestly, it still feels unreal sometimes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">So, What\u2019s Next?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019re doubling down on the details that make your work stand out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Better features.<br>A smoother experience.<br>Faster fixes when things break.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019re also investing more into documentation, videos, and practical tips so it\u2019s easier to keep up with everything we\u2019re building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But more than anything, we want to stay close to the people who actually use UiCore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2025 taught us how important real connection is. That\u2019s why we created a Facebook group where we can share updates, get feedback, and build UiCore together.
